Office Manager
who will play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
About the role
This is a central role within Venture Play. As Office Manager, you'll be the glue that holds the office and site operations together, supporting our team, projects and day-to-day business. You'll work closely with directors, project teams and suppliers, making sure the right things happen at the right time -- both in the office and out on site.

Key responsibilities
Office & Operations
Managing office logistics, including supplies, facilities, and day-to-day organisation
Overseeing office systems, processes and documentation
Liaising with suppliers, contractors and service providers
Ensuring the office environment is safe, organised and efficient
Site Logistics
Coordinating site logistics - including deliveries of materials, plant hire, scheduling, and supplier communication
Supporting installers with smooth site operations
Tracking orders, deliveries and site requirements efficiently
Finance & Administration
Managing company credit card and financial records
Supporting bookkeeping and liaising with the finance director
Maintaining accurate company and project documentation
People & Team Support
Acting as the first point of contact for staff queries
Supporting onboarding and offboarding of employees
Organising team meetings, training and team events
Helping maintain a positive and supportive team culture
General Support
Providing admin support to directors and senior staff
Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Proactively solving problems and keeping things moving day-to-day
What we're looking for
Experience in an Office Manager, Operations or Administration role
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident communication with teams, suppliers and contractors
A proactive, can-do attitude and calm approach to problem-solving
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy environment
A friendly, approachable and reliable team player
