We are seeking an Office Manager to lead and coordinate the daily operations of our Milton Keynes office. This role is vital to the smooth running of our practice and involves both people management and legal administrative oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning work schedules, assigning tasks, and delegating responsibilities to ensure smooth office operations.
Overseeing all correspondence and client enquiries, particularly in relation to immigration casework and administrative records.
Coordinating the preparation, review, and submission of immigration applications (including visit visas, extensions, and appeals).
Managing evidence bundles, supporting legal drafting such as cover letters, and ensuring compliance with procedures.
Supervising office staff and assisting with the training and onboarding of new employees.
Managing inventory, office supplies, and supporting the coordination of resources.
Handling basic financial administration, including petty cash, budget tracking, and internal reporting.
Supporting compliance with data protection laws, Home Office regulations, and SRA standards.
Ensuring full adherence to health and safety policies within the workplace.
Using digital tools and internal systems for case management, inventory control, and reporting.
Handle financial processes including cash handling, basic budgeting, and internal reporting.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to speak Urdu and Hindi fluently is essential.
Strong understanding of South Asian cultural norms and values, in order to effectively communicate with and serve the firm's primary client base.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
Familiarity with the legal sector or experience supporting immigration casework is highly desirable.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
