We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid background in office administration. This role involves managing all aspects of an established Occupational H&S Management System and Quality Management system. The Office Manager will be instrumental in fostering a productive work environment and supporting organisational objectives through effective management and administrative oversight.
Duties
Supervise daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organisation across all departments
Manage team members, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring
Perform Internal and External Audits
Deal with Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
With help from the wider team, manage clerical tasks including correspondence, filing, and data entry with precision
Maintain excellent communication with staff, clients, and vendors via phone, email, and in person
Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes to facilitate effective decision-making
Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained in good working order
Develop and implement organisational policies to optimise workflow efficiency
Requirements
Proven experience in QMS and OH&S System management & administrative roles with supervisory responsibilities
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and TEAMS platforms
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
Demonstrated experience in human resources functions such as recruitment and employee relations
Previous office experience with a focus on administrative duties
Ability to lead a team confidently while fostering a positive work environment
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Proactive problem-solving skills combined with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
