Office Manager
Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire (on-site)
Salary: 30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week

From our Lincolnshire base, we design and make eco-friendly, themed craft subscription boxes and provide alternative education packages, online lessons, and workbooks--helping thousands of children discover a love of learning beyond the classroom. We're a small, friendly team of specialists who believe in play, practical skills, and a bit of everyday magic. The Role
We're looking for an Office Manager who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in--someone who thrives in a busy, fast-growing small business where everyone mucks in and no two days are the same. You'll be the backbone of our operations, making sure our office and workshop run smoothly, our team is motivated, and our ambitious growth plans stay on track.
Mission
To ensure the seamless, efficient, and joyful running of our office and workshop, supporting our team to deliver brilliant products and educational services as we scale. You'll organise, motivate, and pitch in wherever needed, helping us reach our targets and keep our culture fun, creative, and eco-friendly.

Seamless Operations: Office and workshop run like clockwork--orders dispatched on time, supplies well-stocked, and everything in its place.
Team Motivation: Office and workshop team feel supported, valued, and energised--regular feedback, clear goals, and a positive atmosphere.
Growth Support: Actively contribute to business development--help research and pursue new partnerships, track progress towards targets, and suggest ways to improve.
Financial management and making sure that the company hits its financial targets, creating/ maintaining systems to ensure that financial information is always available and up to date.
Events & Projects: Company events, launches, and workshops are well-organised and run smoothly, with all logistics handled.
Improved Processes: Regularly spot and fix inefficiencies--implement better systems and champion the 5S approach in the workshop.
Eco-friendly Ethos: Sustainability and fun are woven into daily operations--championing our creative, eco-conscious culture.
Competencies (What You Bring)
Proven Track Record: Solid experience as an office or operations manager (or similar) in a fast-paced, growing SME--ideally with responsibility for both people and processes.
Resilience & Adaptability: Thrives under pressure, remains calm and effective when plans change, and can adapt quickly to new priorities.
Hands-on, All-in Attitude: Willing and able to pitch in with any task--no job too big or small.
People Person: Skilled at motivating, managing, and developing a diverse team--great listener and communicator.
Results-Focused: Evidence of delivering measurable improvements (e.g., process efficiency, team performance, cost savings, or growth support).
Organised & Efficient: Keeps multiple plates spinning, prioritises well, and loves a good checklist.

Attention to Detail: Nothing escapes your notice, from stock levels to team rotas.
Tech-Savvy: Confident with email, spreadsheets, Google Drive, and picking up new systems.
Strong References: Able to provide references that speak to your work ethic, reliability, and impact in previous roles.
Quantifiable Evaluation (How You'll Be Measured)
Order Accuracy & Timeliness: 98%+ orders dispatched accurately and on time each month.
Team Satisfaction: Positive feedback in quarterly team surveys; low unplanned absence/turnover.
Process Improvements: At least two new or improved systems/processes implemented each quarter.
Customer/Partner Feedback: 95%+ positive responses to service queries and event feedback.
Project Delivery: 100% of events and launches delivered smoothly, on budget, and with positive outcomes.
Growth Initiatives: Actively contributing to at least one new business development or partnership project per quarter.
