Short description As our new Office Manager, you will establish a broad range of office and facilities management, supporting in a variety of administrative tasks, events, travel and employee onboarding and engagement activities. Based at our state-of-the-art, brand new office location in Altrincham, South Manchester, you will initially be supporting the relocation of our offices from Wilmslow to Altrincham, which is expected to be around November 2023.

YOUR NEW JOB
This role sits at the heart of our office and culture and is fundamental to maintaining our high levels of engagement at SPORTIVE, by helping us to continually strive to be a great place to work, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication, and safety.
This role is office-based and will be required to be on site 5 days a week, initially at our Wilmslow office for handover and re-location support, before being permanently based in our fantastic brand-new Altrincham office alongside a brilliant team of people.

AS OUR OFFICE MANAGER YOU WILL

  • Provide administrative support to the UK Management Team and Global Sales Organisation.
  • Utilise your creative side to be our office social and cultural event champion, working closely with our social team to bring your great ideas to life.
  • Support our Partnership Marketing team with client event co-ordination.
  • Help to provide our new starters with a great onboarding experience by co-ordinating their IT equipment and supporting the HR team with various onboarding related tasks.
  • Co-ordinate IT Support by liaising with external contractors for site visits to maintain any systems and equipment.
  • Work with our external travel support provider to assist with the planning of any large group trips and ensuring all individual needs are met by our provider.
  • Provide general facilities/buildings management and H&S by being our key point of contact with landlords and our external partners to maintain the needs of a safe, organised and productive office.
  • Professionally oversee and support arrangements for any visitors to the office.
  • Maintain an organised office environment which caters for all our employee\'s needs.
  • Be the first point of contact for all office queries from employees and external visitors, supporting the answering and directing of incoming phone calls.
WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL BRING
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or within a senior administrative role.
  • Bags of enthusiasm and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
  • Strong IT Skills - Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, Teams in particular).
  • Familiarity with scheduling systems.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
