Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to join our growing construction business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our office, supporting senior management, and coordinating administrative processes to keep projects and operations on track.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee daily office operations, ensuring an efficient and professional working environment. Act as the main point of contact for office communications, correspondence, and enquiries. Manage office supplies, equipment, and service contracts. Support directors and project managers with scheduling, travel, and meeting coordination. Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems (digital and paper). Assist with HR administration, including onboarding, training records, and holiday/sickness tracking. Support finance team with invoice processing, expenses, and basic bookkeeping tasks. Coordinate health & safety compliance, including maintaining staff certifications and office/site documentation. Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency across the business.

Skills & Qualities



Excellent organisational and multitasking ability. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Knowledge of construction industry administration or project support (preferred but not essential). Attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team. Minute taking.

Requirements



Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrator, or similar role. Experience in the construction or related industries is advantageous. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach.

Pay: 25,000.00-35,000.00 per year
