We are looking for someone with excellent organisational, IT, communication and planning skills who can contribute to the every day running and forward planning of a small design and engineering business. This includes manufacturing workshops, a retail showroom and a national sales team. The Company
We are small family company, that manufactures solid fuel stoves and accessories, based in Pwllheli, North Wales. We have a dealership network of over a hundred stockists nationally, including our own local showroom. Our interest is in strong functional design and creating products that will last. We love the idea of design with personality and creating products that customers will feel a connection with.

The role
The role is to participate in running a small but busy office and retail showroom, offer support to our sales team and dealership network and deal with incoming customer service enquiries. As a part of the management team you will participate in the business planning both long and short term, monitor spend against target and track progress against plan.
1. You need to be able to communicate on the phone, by email and in person with our local customers, our staff team, our national network of stockists and our sales team.
2. You will need to be IT proficient, familiar with the Microsoft suite, including Excel and be confident enough to fault find when an issue arises
3. You need to make customers welcome in our showroom and manage sales from first enquiry to delivery and after care.
4. You will be the office point of contact for our 2 sales staff and be involved in overseeing the national dealership network; looking at targets, incentivising sales, welcoming, administrating and supporting new stockists and decommissioning old stockists.
5. You will be prepared to go the extra mile with customer service.
6. You may be involved with the management team in some HR tasks- such as monitoring review periods and preparing job adverts
7. You need to be able to maintain and evolve systems and processes that ensure the smooth running of the office. and contribute to a happy and productive work environment.
We are a small team which means every member has the potential to directly contribute to the evolution and success of the company. We want to find someone excited by this possibility. A background in office management, PA, human resources, business management or experience of running your own business will be an advantage.
The Place
We are based in a beautiful part of the world, 5 minutes from the beach and marina in Pwllheli, if you like sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding or sea swimming, it is perfect. We are also close to Eryri/Snowdonia if you like walking and cycling (or just lying on a mountain and looking at the stars). The usual work pattern is a 5 day week (Monday-Friday), but 4 months of the year we reduce to a 4 day week.
