Registered Manager
to oversee our children's residential home based in
Leicester (LE3)
. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a well-established home that supports young people with
Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
.
You will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring it operates in line with Ofsted requirements and delivers outstanding care and support. As a key member of the senior team, you will shape the home's culture, develop staff, and ensure the children receive the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and legislative standards
Provide effective leadership and support to a team of care professionals
Ensure individualised care plans are in place and consistently followed
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for all young people
Lead on inspections, audits, and safeguarding procedures
Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing team
Manage budgets, resources, and rota planning effectively
Work in close partnership with families, local authorities, and external agencies
What We're Looking For:
Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children's residential care setting
NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and quality standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
A child-centred, compassionate, and resilient approach
Ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations effectively
Full UK driving licence preferred
