At Lily Residential Services, we provide consistent, therapeutic care that supports children and young people in need of emotional support, structure, and stability. We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead one of our residential homes in the Weymouth area.
Your Role
You will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring high-quality, child-centred care is delivered in a safe and supportive environment. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to shape lives and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor and support a dedicated care team
Deliver therapeutic, individualised care tailored to each young person
Oversee safeguarding, care planning and risk management procedures
Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards and inspection frameworks
Build a welcoming, homely environment that encourages growth and healing
Develop strong working relationships with families and partner agencies
Promote a culture of reflection, learning and high performance
About You
You are a confident, compassionate leader with experience in residential childcare and a strong commitment to safeguarding and regulatory excellence.
Essential Criteria:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior role within children's residential care
Strong track record with Ofsted inspections and compliance
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Legal right to work in the UK
Five-year checkable work history
Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional weekends or overnight
