Job Summary

We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support to families. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, organised, and able to create a safe and engaging environment for children. This role involves supervising children, assisting with daily routines, and fostering their development through educational activities. Fluency in English is essential. The position offers an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children while supporting their growth and well-being.

Locations: Manchester, Birmingham, London

Pay: 15 to 20 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times during scheduled hours Plan and organise age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, feeding, bathing, and dressing Support children's homework or educational tasks, including teaching basic skills if required Maintain a clean and tidy environment in the child's living area Drive children to school, activities, or appointments as needed (Driving experience preferred) Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and needs Provide emotional support and encouragement to foster confidence and independence

Requirements

Previous experience in childcare, nannying, or babysitting is highly desirable Valid driving licence with a clean driving record (Driving skills required) Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Fluency in English; proficiency in French is a plus but not essential Genuine love for working with children and a nurturing attitude Ability to adapt to different family routines and children's individual needs Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with strong communication skills
