Domestic Oil Tank Installer

We are looking for a domestic oil tank installer to join our Anglia Heating Solutions tank team, based at Goff Petroleum in Wymondham.

This is a physical job, working almost entirely outdoors. You will be working at our customers premises, installing and removing tanks, representing the company.

Previous experience is preferable as is a current Oftec qualification.

Would suit someone with landscaping / plumbing / groundworks experience.

Full training will be provided.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Pumping out existing oil to a safe holding tank
Disconnecting, removing and recycling the old tank
Pressure testing the old oil pipe (if required for re-use)
Constructing a base suitable for the new tank
Installing the oil tank replacement and connecting to the oil feed pipe
Transferring oil out of the holding tank into the new installation
Bleeding the oil pipes, priming the appliances and testing
Issuing an OFTEC CD10 completion report and registering the work with OFTEC
Following and updating the online booking system
Driving the company vehicle and associated responsibilities
Providing excellent customer service
Ensuring that customer property is respected at all times
Adhering to safe working practises and Health and Safety requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

Full UK Driving License - Essential
OFTEC qualified - Preferred
Knowledge of the Oil Storage Regulations/Fire Protection for Oil installations - Preferred
Previous experience of tank fitting/working with oil/in a similar role - Preferred
Understanding of industry standards, legislation and compliance - Preferred

Ability to work on your own initiative - Preferred

Salary is dependant on experience, ranging from 15 - 16.50 per hour.

Hours are 7.30am - 4pm with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break each day, working Monday to Friday. Contracted for 40 hours per week with over-time available during busy periods, paid a 1.5 x hourly rate.
