VACANCY: Factory and Office Cleaner

LOCATION

Rotherham, S60 (Close to Meadowhall, Sheffield)

ABOUT US:

MTL Advanced is a Yorkshire-based, engineering and manufacturing company operating from a 390,000 sq. ft. facility in Rotherham.

We have invested in an extensive range of technology and equipment and provide services to a range of OEM's from leading industries including defence, security, construction, quarrying, recycling and rail.

Our inhouse capabilities include, large format Laser Cutting and Press Braking, CNC Precision Machining, Fabrication & Welding, Shot Blasting, Painting and final Assembly.

We are looking for experienced Cleaner to maintain our large factory, site, yard and office areas on a full time, permanent basis. Your role will be to manage the overall day-to-day cleaning operation on site in a safe, efficient and professional manner, this involves working both inside and outside in all weathers.

You will be working in a heaving engineering environment, with tight deadlines especially during peak times throughout the day, week and year

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Clean and sanitise designated areas using appropriate cleaning equipment; Offices, Outdoor and Factory environments

Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, disposing of rubbish, cleaning windows, mirrors, glass surfaces

Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor

Minor indoor and outdoor maintenance

Ensure good working relationships with work and site employees

Keep up to date with good working practices, products and techniques to ensure and maintain knowledge

Safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals, in line with training

Completion of daily cleaning tasks, and completion of all relevant documentation and checklists

ABOUT YOU:

Reliable, punctual and dedicated to delivering high-quality results

Have all round cleaning experience within in a manufacturing production

Physically fit, and capable of working with heavy-duty cleaning equipment and chemicals
A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas

37.5 hours per week
