The Role



This role is focussed on sustaining relationships and expanding growth opportunities across our client base. You will be based in our Aberdeen Offices as a field-based employee involving travel across Aberdeen and wider UK. You may also have the opportunity to travel internationally, but this is not a requirement of the role.

Key Responsibilities will include:



To manage existing client accounts and relationships throughout our client base and sectors, including Energy, Renewables, Marine and any other highly regulated industries - in a variety of geographies. Maintain existing clients relationships and ensure client retention. Regular client communication to ensure that we are a strategically important fit for the client and an essential part of their future plans. Create and deliver Account Plans for key and growth clients. Expand the use of Onboard Tracker within current and key clients, their affiliate companies and also their supply chain. Work alongside the Implementation and Support Teams to help track Service Delivery and success. Identify business opportunities for existing and new services within our existing clients. Aid the Business Development team with new business opportunities for the Onboard Tracker products and services. Undertake system demonstrations and client presentations as an expert in the domain. Track threats and opportunities. Contract tracking and proposals for expiries and expansion. Represent the company at meetings, forums, networking and industry events.
Please note travel is a requirement of the role, and suitable candidates will be required to hold a UK Driving Licence and have access to a car within working hours.

The ideal candidate will:



Have held an Account Manager or similar position for 5+ years, and can evidence account growth during your tenure. Experience in the Energy and/or Technology sectors, with strong industry relationships to leverage. Be a self-motivated, confident individual with both passion for and a proven track record for delivering high growth value and retention rates to the organisations you work for. Be organised, conscientious and prepared to seize opportunities and maximise client interactions. Be passionate about the customer journey and hold high standards in your communication style. Be tech savvy and comfortable working with new technology, plus standard Microsoft Applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe is beneficial but not mandatory. A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Be a motivated, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and seeks out opportunities, rather than waiting for them to arrive.

ROLE CONDITIONS



The role is based in Aberdeen, Scotland You must have a right to work in the UK and there will be no sponsorship for this role.

WORK LOCATION



Office in Aberdeen AB11 6JN with hybrid/work-from-home opportunities available.

Field based role including travel mainly in Aberdeen, but wider UK and internationally on occasion.
