In-order to deliver these services, Platform Smart have built an Associates Programme which is one of the largest and highest quality communities of independent IT Consultants in the UK covering all disciplines of IT delivery.

Platform Smart has experienced significant growth over the past 10 years to become a thriving business with a growing client portfolio, and big plans for the future in further improving the service provided to our clients and associates. As a result, we are looking for a new member of the team to support these growth plans, and to support and improve our back-office functions.

The Role

The delivery engine behind Platform Smart is our Associate Programme which has been nurtured and grown over the past 10 years to be one of the market leading communities of IT Professionals in the UK. Due to the continued growth of both this Associate Network, and the demand from our clients, we are now looking for an Onboarding and Compliance Coordinator to join our team to support the continued growth of this community and growing compliance demands to further improve the service we provide to our associate partners, through exceptional backoffice support.

The role will report to our Onboarding and Compliance Team Lead and will require you to be pro-active and work under your own initiative at times, due to the fast-paced environment, however you will be fully supported and trained as needed to ensure your success and to develop you into a critical member of the team.

The role will offer exposure to all key business functions including Resourcing, Sales Support, Marketing and Operations and will require you to be able to quickly build relationships with key stakeholders in these areas to support the overall business requirements and strategy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who has previous experience working within an administrative role in a fast paced environment, with excellent attention to detail and is interested in joining a rapidly growing business supporting the ongoing development of our compliance function.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Onboarding and Compliance Coordinator your key responsibilities will be to support the following areas:

Proactively support the administrative duties of our resourcing & compliance teams including but not limited to employment screening, IR35 assessments and issuing associate contracts.

Support the management and accurate upkeep of internal systems ensuring close attention to detail.

Provide a 'gold standard' service to all our associates through every step of their journey working with Platform Smart.

Support the on-boarding & off-boarding activities of associates working with Platform Smart.

Support ongoing contract management and issuing contracts for both new and existing associates ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Support the on-going management and maintainence of our IR35 position across client engagements through accurate upkeep of data and sharing reports with management as required.

Coordinating security clearance and vetting requirements of associates as and when required.

Acting as a point of contact within the compliance team for our associates and assisting with any queries as necessary and escalating as required.

Be a direct support to our Managing Consultant's to provide contract support for their client accounts

Key Skills

Experience

Experience in owning and managing administrative duties with accuracy and consistency

Previous experience working within a compliance or regulatory environment would be beneficial but not essential

Previous experience working in a resourcing, recruitment or HR environment (from an onboarding perspective) would be beneficial but not essential

Previous experience of candidate vetting processes would be beneficial but not essential

Prior understanding of the IR35 legislation would be beneficial but not essential

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
