Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor to provide personalised educational support to KS3 and GCSE Maths students across the academic year. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering academic growth, confidence, and a love for learning. Duties

Deliver high quality one-to-one sessions, adapting teaching methods to suit each student's learning style Assess students' strengths and areas for improvement, developing customised lesson plans accordingly Support students with special educational needs, ensuring inclusive and accessible learning environments Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and homework to parents Prepare educational materials and resources to enhance learning experiences Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to achieve their academic goals Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other tutors to ensure cohesive support strategies

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, ideally with children or young learners Knowledge of special education practices is desirable but not essential Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently Passion for education and supporting student development Organised and reliable, with the ability to plan engaging lessons tailored to individual needs Relevant qualifications in education
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
