Role Overview

We are seeking experienced and dedicated

IB English Tutors

to join our professional tutoring team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

IB English Language & Literature (HL/SL)

and/or

IB English Literature (HL/SL)

, and a proven ability to guide students toward success in both coursework and final examinations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct one-to-one or small group online tutoring sessions for IB English students Teach critical reading, textual analysis, essay writing, and exam strategies Support students with Internal Assessments (IOs), HL Essays, and Paper 1 & 2 preparation Provide detailed, constructive feedback on written and oral work Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and staff Uphold the company's standards for professionalism, reliability, and educational quality

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Minimum

one year of experience teaching or tutoring IB English

(Language & Literature and/or Literature) Strong understanding of the IB syllabus, marking criteria, and assessment objectives Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confident in using online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional online presence

Desirable Attributes

Experience as an

IB Examiner

Familiarity with the Extended Essay (EE) and Theory of Knowledge (TOK) components Ability to teach students across multiple time zones Passion for fostering academic growth and confidence in students
