About Us

Next Wave English Academy (NextWaveEnglish.com) is an online tutoring platform helping learners aroun the world improve fluency, communication, and exam performance in English. We specialize in IELTS, PET, OET, and General English courses, connecting motivated students with qualified UK tutors for engaging live classes.

Role Overview

We are looking for passionate and experienced UK-based English tutors to deliver online lessons to international students. You'll help learners build confidence, improve fluency, and prepare for English proficiency exams -- all from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging online lessons in General English, IELTS, PET, or OET

Design or adapt lesson materials to meet student goals

Provide constructive feedback and support learner progress

Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and high teaching standards

Participate in occasional online meetings or training sessions

Qualifications and Experience

Must be based in the UK

A degree in English / Linguistics / Education (BA or MA preferred)

One or more of the following certifications:

CELTA / DELTA

TESOL / TEFL

ESOL or equivalent teaching qualifications

Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (online or in-person) preferred

Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner

Reliable internet connection, webcam, and quiet workspace.
