Prominent Education, part of the Xinlung Group, delivers high-quality, tailored tuition across a wide range of academic and examination programmes. We are expanding our provision for international students preparing for the IELTS examination and are seeking an experienced bilingual IELTS tutor to join our team.

Candidate requirements

Essential

Fluent Mandarin and excellent English. Proven IELTS teaching experience Strong personal IELTS record 5+ years teaching/tutoring experience. Recognised English-teaching qualification Comfortable teaching online and using online platforms
Able to provide (or willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check

Right to work in the UK

Preferred

IELTS examiner experience Experience supporting Chinese-speaking learners Familiarity with WeChat Resource creation

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality IELTS tuition, including to young and elementary learners, utilising Mandarin when needed Create targeted plans, homework, and timed exam practice for your students Provide clear, actionable feedback mapped to IELTS band descriptors
