The Team
Our Cabin Services team is at the heart of base life, making work meaningful, fun, and community-driven. The Role
As an Operational Administrator, you'll play a vital role in supporting our base teams with all administrative activity, ensuring that base life runs smoothly and efficiently. Reporting to the Base Manager, you'll be responsible for:
  • Managing all administrative activity within the base(s)
  • Providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the base management team
  • Processing and paying roster disruption payments accurately
  • Supporting note-taking in meetings, including safety investigations and Employee Relations cases
  • Coordinating joiner and leaver processes for crew, including organising base days and ensuring equipment and IDs are managed
  • Supporting base communications and producing agendas and minutes for meetings
  • Addressing car parking concerns and identifying long-term solutions
  • Resolving or escalating crew base infrastructure or service delivery issues
  • Assisting crew with administrative queries and promoting self-service
  • Guiding grounded maternity crew working in the office
  • Organising base events and supporting PR activities
  • Providing guidance on broken or damaged devices
  • Escorting and supporting base visits to ensure seamless processes
  • Identifying issues for escalation and providing innovative solutions
Qualifications
What we're looking for
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within an airline environment
  • Understanding of high-volume operational businesses
  • High degree of IT literacy, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent numerical, verbal, and written communication skills
Well organised with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to build positive relationships, deliver results, and adapt to change

Practicalities
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. The role requires flexibility to travel across the network and provide support at various bases, depending on business needs. While you may be required to attend different bases as needed the primary location for this role will be Manchester
