We are looking to recruit an inspirational Operational Service Manager on a permanent basis within the Response Repairs team covering our housing portfolio. This position requires a hard-working individual with good people management skills, excellent communications, ability to interrogate data to enable operation improvements to our service whilst a track record of providing an excellent customer experience is essential.
Your main role will include direct line management of a team of Supervisors and Planners delivering a range of services across the Repairs and Maintenance Team.
You will provide leadership to the team through effective coaching, mentoring, one to ones and team briefings, ensuring the team members are objective driven and adequately trained to fulfil their responsibilities, and are working to policy and procedure. You will also support in the management of contractors and quality audits in these work streams ensuring they are meeting Connexus Standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a housing repair professional to work with a well-regarded and respected housing association who aim to make a real difference in delivering housing repairs to much needed communities. You will need to demonstrate a good knowledge of current health and safety legislation, housing regulation and best practices.
