We are looking for a passionate and organised
Operational Trainer
to support our Logistics teams in delivering high-quality, consistent performance across our operations. You'll play a key role in onboarding new starters, delivering capability training, maintaining training records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct capability assessments and confirm competency of logistics colleagues.
Deliver hands-on training and support for colleagues needing additional development.
Collaborate with Area Managers, ASLs, and Team Leaders to identify training needs.
Maintain and update skills matrices and training records to audit-ready standards.
Support the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Deliver refresher training and ensure compliance with operational standards.
Contribute to new process introductions, trials, and improvement initiatives.
Evaluate training effectiveness and adapt programs based on feedback.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in training, coaching, or buddying within a Logistics environment.
Knowledge of Logistics processes and a passion for driving quality.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
A 'Train the Trainer' and/or Assessor qualification (or willingness to work toward).
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Working Hours:
Day Shift:
Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
These will be your core hours however flexibility will be required to ensure all our Logistics team are trained across our 3 shifts. Days, lates and nights.
