Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service? Warsash Maritime School is seeking an enthusiastic

Operations Accounts Officer

to join our dynamic team and play a key role in supporting the financial and operational delivery of our short course programmes.



In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the smooth processing of invoices, monitoring outstanding debts, and maintaining accurate financial records. You'll work closely with the Operations and Quality Manager (Maritime), the Income Team, and other professional services across the University to support strategic and tactical initiatives.



Your responsibilities will include:


Raising and processing invoices for short courses using University systems. Coordinating cadet and senior course bookings and credit allocations. Liaising with clients and students to resolve invoice queries and manage debt collection. Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and other regulatory standards. Reconciling financial data and preparing monthly account statements.

We're looking for someone with:


A HND or equivalent qualification. Knowledge of financial and accounting procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in customer service and financial administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software systems.
