About the role

Job Title: Operations Manager

Role Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution and optimization of business operations. This role ensures that systems, people, processes, and tools run efficiently to meet company objectives across departments. The ideal candidate combines operational discipline, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving to drive high performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Strategy & Execution

Design, implement, and refine operational systems, workflows, and SOPs to enhance productivity and performance. Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and output quality. Monitor operational KPIs and ensure alignment with company OKRs.

Performance & Process Management

Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and real-time tracking tools for project delivery, team output, and company performance. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and gaps--then lead the resolution with speed and precision. Manage internal documentation, playbooks, and quality control systems.

Team Coordination & Enablement

Act as a bridge between teams (sales, client service, product, and leadership) to ensure alignment and speed of execution. Ensure that team members are resourced, trained, and supported to perform their roles effectively. Own team rituals: huddles, sprint planning, retros, performance reviews.

Tooling & Automation

Own the tech stack for operations (CRM, project management, automation tools). Lead the integration of new platforms and build automations to remove manual work. Manage access, permissions, and tooling efficiency across departments.

Growth Readiness

Prepare the company for scale through capacity planning, hiring systems, onboarding systems, and repeatable workflows. Support new business lines or vertical launches with tailored operational infrastructure.

Qualifications

1-7 years of experience in operations, project management, or a process-oriented leadership role. Strong experience with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Notion) and CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce). Analytical mindset with the ability to break down problems, create systems, and measure results. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive outcomes with minimal oversight. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice to Have

Startup or high-growth company experience. Experience working directly with C-level executives. Technical knowledge of automations, dashboards, or scripting. Familiarity with KPI frameworks (OKRs, V2MOM, etc.).
