Khiron Clinics provides treatment for people suffering from mental health and behavioural disorders such as depression, anxiety and PTSD at five different units to provide for the needs of a wide range of clients with varying severity of symptoms. Khiron has residential facilities in Oxfordshire and Outpatient services in London.
All treatment is based on neurobiologically-informed treatment which focuses on the effects of dysregulation in the nervous system on both mental and physical health. This means that apart from patients having one-to-one sessions with therapists, group sessions, equine therapy and mindfulness, treatment also focuses on bodywork in the form of tai chi, yoga and other fitness classes.
Purpose of the job:
To manage all aspects of Khiron Clinics ensuring the highest standards of care for the clients and to be the Registered Manager for the service. To be responsible for the well-being of clients within the Khiron Clinics, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and social needs are met, whilst helping them to achieve their full capabilities in line with the individual resident's care plan. To ensure the safe, smooth, and efficient running of the unit in accordance with the policies of the Company and the Registering Authority guidelines. To understand the legal requirements of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Regulations and other legislations, ensuring the clinic complies with Essential Standards of Quality and Safety together with all legislation or relevant standards that are in force at any time. To be part of the escalation process on a rota basis.
The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, HR management, operational organisation, project management and management of staff.
Key Skills and experience required
: Good attention to detail, proactive problem solver, strong people manager, HR and Operational experience, resilient and sensitive to the needs of others. You will also have experience, or the ability and willingness, to become the Registered Manager for the service.
Experience of working in a care environment is preferred. You must be able to travel to the remote location just outside of Wantage where free parking is provided. The hours will be 40 per week, worked on site with flexible start / finish times.
