Job Summary



A new and exciting role has become available at Lockabox. We are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic individual to join the Lockabox team from October 2025. With a new financial year upon us, we're looking for the right candidate to help manage the day-to-day functions of the operations and finance department to help spread the load and ensure stability as we continue to grow. The role would suit an IT-literate, highly organised and consistent person who's willing to learn and happy to multi-task. No previous experience is necessary; however, we would expect you to demonstrate a transferable skill set that will guide us on your suitability for the role.

Key Responsibilities



Operations Support

Play a key part in ensuring Lockabox products are distributed effectively - meaning we never stock out on key channels. Regularly liaise with warehouses & carriers to ensure proper communications are maintained, stock is looked after, and customers are happy. Maintaining stocks of component parts is key to the manufacturing of Lockabox products. Champion and improve quality and efficiency in all areas.
Finance Assistance

Aid the finance team with basic bookkeeping functions from our cloud-based accounting software, including entering invoices & bills, sending payment reminders & fielding customer payment queries. Keep records effectively to ensure compliance & ease of reporting.
E-Commerce Support

Assist with standard reporting functions to ensure business decisions can be made using reliable and up-to-date data. Ensure key systems are online, functioning and optimised to enable efficient flow of orders, invoices & stock data. Cover basic customer service channels (emails, phone, & Amazon messaging) when the customer service team are unavailable. Key administrative tasks related to new product launches or new market onboarding.
General Administration

Assist the B2B sales team with shipping & logistics requests. Maintenance of internal data sheets. Research into alternative operational solutions, suppliers and awards. Participate in weekly company team meetings and contribute to new agendas.

Person Specification



Interest to learn the workings of a small business selling globally. Experience working with cloud accounting software is desired but not essential. Experience working in a relevant inventory management/e-commerce focused role, Amazon Seller Central knowledge is a plus but not a necessity, as we can provide training on this. Proficiency in Google Suite/Microsoft (Google Sheets/Excel primarily, preferable). Practically minded, logical, consistent & organised person - willing to learn. Initiative - we want a team member who can think on their feet, approaches problem-solving creatively, and actively looks to improve the way we do things as a business. Confidence and ability to communicate both in written and verbal forms. Ability to manage a varied workload, working to deadlines and on multiple projects both independently and within a team. A desire for continued personal development. Fun and friendly approach (able to have a laugh!). Must be willing to commute to Kingsbridge - fully remote is not an option.

Starting Salary Range: 26,000-28,000 pa Type: Full-Time Standard Hours: 0830-1630 Mon-Thurs, 0830-1300 Fridays. Location: Duke Street Chambers, Bridge Street, Kingsbridge, TQ7 1HX, Devon. Start Date: October 2025 (or sooner if possible).
