We are a dynamic and growing company based in Liverpool, specialising in electric home appliances. With a strong presence across multiple online platforms, including Amazon, eBay, and Shopify, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional products and service to our customers. We are now seeking a highly experienced and organised Operations Assistant to join our team and ensure high standard stock management and order fulfilment.
Job Responsibilities
As our Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders, coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the warehouse. You will also support other areas that contribute to e-commerce operations.
Picking, packing, and fulfilling customer orders placed by online or in-store customers.
Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock.
Manage inventory levels and ensure the accuracy of inventory counts.
Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
Treating merchandise with care and concern at all times
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to address issues.
Collaborating closely with E-commerce and Procurement teams to ensure seamless stock control and reporting
Support the customer service function
Assist other team members when needed, particularly with tasks related to e-commerce operations.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
2 years minimum of working in a similar role.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and processes.
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
In-date forklift license required (both counterbalance and reach truck).
Professional email or phone answering skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and understand priorities.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
High attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Full clean driving license.
Desirable (Preferred but not essential)
Knowledge or experience with managing E-Commerce seller accounts such as eBay, Amazon, and Shopify.
Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
