We are seeking a talented and experienced Operations Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of Mexican dishes according to established recipes and standards Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations Manage food production processes, maintaining quality and consistency across all offerings Oversee food safety procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the kitchen Assist in menu planning and development to enhance customer satisfaction Train new team members in food preparation, safety standards, and service protocols

Requirements

Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience with team management capabilities Strong skills in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members Experience in hospitality or serving is advantageous but not essential A passion for culinary arts and delivering outstanding customer service Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred
