Operations Coordinator
Job Description
Palletways Cardiff operates the leading pallet network solution in South Wales. We're growing our business at a fantastic rate and need the right individual to help us continue this progression, ensuring our customers receive the first class service we offer. The operations coordinator will play a critical role in dealing with our customers freight and the freight of our fellow network members.
We are looking for an operations co-ordinator to enhance our traffic team, to enhance our service offering to our own customers and the customers of our fellow network members. The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated, with operational or warehousing experience, along with the ability to work collaboratively as part of our wider operational team. A counter balance FLT licence is preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Co-ordinating our traffic operation, supporting the driving team with their daily duties.
The flexibility to cover various key roles as required.
Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times, protecting the health and safety of yourself and the wider team.
Monitor and improve performance in line with specific set KPIs.
Maintain clear communication with management across the depot.
Computer literacy is essential.
Work independently and adapt to operational demands.
Qualifications/Skills
Valid counter balance forklift license preferred but not essential.
Experience within the Transport and Logistics industry.
Have the ability to communicate well at all levels with excellent interpersonal skills.
A good working knowledge of basic Microsoft office software
Developing efficient methods of working and share best practices at all times.
Upon completion of 13 week probation period you will be entitled to:-
