TechSoft is a small but busy business, and we are currently growing. Due to an increase in orders and inquiries, we are seeking a
dedicated and reliable Operations Coordinator
to join our team and help us meet our expanding customer demands.
In this role, you will be supporting various operational aspects of our business, including order processing, stock management, and general office administration. You will work closely with the General Manager and other departments to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
We believe this role would suit someone who enjoyed or excelled in Maths at school and has a logical, analytical approach to problem-solving; demonstrates strong attention to detail and is adaptable when faced with new or changing situations.
Prior experience is useful, but not necessary.

Job Overview
We have an exciting career opportunity for an Operations Coordinator, offering great scope for personal and career development.
The successful candidate will need to live in or re-locate to a suitable location within a reasonable distance to our office in Bodelwyddan, North Wales.
The work will be varied and sometimes challenging but the main responsibilities will be as follows:
1. Order Management:
Accurately review and process customer orders, ensuring all details are complete and correct. Communicate proactively with customers to resolve any queries or issues.
2. Supplier Coordination:
Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules, maintaining positive and professional relationships.
3. Operational Administration:
Utilise our in-house bespoke order and customer management system and Microsoft Outlook to manage daily operations and communications.
4. Office Administration:
Support general administrative tasks such as printing, scanning, preparing documents, and assisting with daily office operations.
5. Assist with accounts management:
Entering invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records using Sage Accounts software.
6. Stock Control:
Assist in organising and maintaining warehouse stock levels to ensure accurate inventory and timely order fulfilment.
7. Team Support:
Take a flexible, proactive approach to support colleagues and adapt to new challenges as the business continues to grow.
8. Operational Improvement:
Review existing operations to identify and implement areas for development and growth.
9. Efficiency Maximisation:
Work to maximise efficiency and productivity across all operations.
Person Specification / Experience
The successful candidate will possess and demonstrate:
A high level of IT literacy, with essential experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other related packages.
Exceptional attention to detail in all tasks.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
The ability to apply business knowledge to real-world scenarios.
Strong communication skills.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Accurate time management and record-keeping.
A flexible and energetic approach to work, with the ability to adapt to new and challenging tasks.
The ability to see and understand the broader business context.
Familiarity with Sage Accounts Package would be useful, but not essential as training will be provided.
Education
High grades at A-Level (or equivalent), preferably one
numerical subject
such as Maths or Economics.
A
Bachelor's Degree
in a numerical or analytical field (such as Maths, Economics, or Business) is preferred but not essential.
Terms and Conditions
1. Hours:
Office hours are 37.5 hours per week. 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with a half hour lunch.
2. Salary:
25,500 - 29,500, dependent on experience
3. Start Date:
As soon as possible
4. Holidays:
25 days per year, plus Bank Holidays. Please note that all holidays must be taken during normal school holiday periods. In addition, 3 of the days are fixed for our Christmas closedown and at least 10 days must be taken during the normal school summer holiday period.
5. Team Collaboration:
The successful candidate will be part of a small, successful team and must be willing to assist in various areas as needed.
