As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a dedicated

Operations Coordinator

to support our Operations Manager and help ensure every project runs smoothly -- from planning and logistics to people and materials.

The Role



The Operations Coordinator will play a key part in the day-to-day operations of our business. You'll coordinate logistics, manage resources, organise travel, and oversee purchasing to support the successful execution of our shipboard and shore-based projects.

This role is primarily based at our Totton office, with occasional visits to our warehouse in Caldicot, Wales.

Key Responsibilities



Logistics & Materials



Coordinate the preparation and dispatch of materials for global projects. Source and order new or replacement items, ensuring best value and timely delivery. Maintain safety documentation (MSDS) and ensure compliance with hazardous goods regulations. Prepare and finalise commercial invoices, shipping labels, and customs documentation. Liaise with shippers, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth deliveries and returns.

Resource Coordination



Assign internal teams or subcontractors to projects in coordination with Area Managers. Maintain accurate personnel records and compliance documentation. Arrange crew travel, transfers, and accommodation in collaboration with travel partners and client travel teams. Prepare and issue project paperwork including manifests, travel itineraries, joining letters, and RAMS.

Purchasing & Project Support



Process material and resource requests from the Projects team. Ensure all documentation and systems are up to date and properly filed. Support continuous improvement across operations and logistics workflows.

About You



Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail. Excellent communicator -- able to coordinate multiple moving parts effectively. Confident using Microsoft Office and digital systems for documentation. Experience in logistics, operations, or coordination (marine or construction background a plus). Flexible approach and willingness to travel occasionally to our warehouse in Wales.
