About the Role




As our Operations Director you will play an instrumental role supporting our Fire Safety and Compliance business growth.


You will be the key stakeholder driving on our acquisition journey in the Fire Safety B2B business, and successfully integrating them into our Group companies.


This is a pivotal and high impact role within our business ensuring commercial success optimal compliance and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities




The Operations Director will serve as the technical authority for fire safety across the business, acting as a senior advisor and partner to our Exco and Board of Directors. You will be responsible for growing the Fire Safety and Compliance division, overseeing quality assurance and professional competence within division.




This role requires someone with deep technical fire safety knowledge, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to support both operational excellence and business growth.

Key Skills & Experience



Experience in both installation and maintenance of fire systems Outstanding technical fire safety knowledge. Deep understanding of UK fire legislation, supporting standards and approved guidance. Comfortable with providing confident and calming advice in high-stakes scenarios. Approachable, collaborative and respected by peers and external stakeholders. Commercially aware with a grasp of PnL Accounts, Acquisition Strategy and Deal Structures. Strategic thinker capable of aligning technical delivery with business goals. Experience within B2B fire safety and compliance holding a senior director position Demonstrable experience in a senior fire safety role, with proven experience in managing complex fire safety assessments and compliance projects Ensuring fit for purpose systems for the reporting of compliance and quality

Qualifications



Full membership with the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) or IFE. Registered on the IFSM Tiered Register of Competent Fire Risk Assessors (Tier 3) or eligible. Holds a minimum Level 5 fire safety qualification.
