The Opportunity The Operations Business Unit (OBU) is at the very heart of our business. It distils our spirit, bottles our brands, processes orders and delivers them all over the world. This role will provide dedicated support to the UK Packaging function of our business to ensure full understanding and timely reporting of financial performance. It offers an exceptional platform to step into an operationally focused role that will provide valuable and broad exposure across a dynamic and thriving Packaging function. What you will be doing
  • Delivering robust and accurate financial results and KPIs for month-end reporting; applying an organised and detail-orientated approach.
  • Providing key financial support and trusted analysis to the wider Packaging function, including identifying and highlighting trends and/or anomalies affecting financial performance.
  • Using various systems and data sources to ensure the integrity of the P&L and Balance Sheet, preparing detailed and insightful commentary for key stakeholders.
  • Supporting the delivery of key forecasting cycles (i.e., Budget, Five-Year Plan and Latest Estimate), with strong stakeholder management at all levels.


Main Responsibility

Accountabilities
  • Support the consolidation and analysis of global operational results for month end reports,
including the generation and review of KPI reporting
  • Support the delivery of the annual reporting timetable including strategic and annual plans
to produce the consolidated Operations Budget, Latest Estimates and Five Year Plans in accordance with group guidelines
  • Support the implementation of appropriate business analysis to identify trends,
opportunities and risks, including analysis and follow up of month end reporting
  • Collation and communication of ad hoc analysis or explanations
  • Assess processes, reporting formats and KPIs and recommend and implement
improvements, standardisation and automation where applicable
  • Support the delivery of change or improvement projects including ensuring changes are
communicated and understood by all relevant stakeholders
  • Review, produce and implement key financial and non-financial internal controls and
procedures for the function where required
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal/external customers to maximise
stakeholder engagement and the quality of service provision

About You You will possess strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders, work co-operatively alongside others and proactively immerse yourself in the business. You will be highly organised and able to assess tasks and prioritise accordingly to adhere to deadlines. You will have proven financial skills, paying close attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and explain numerical information effectively.
