PART TIME position

BoConcept is a leading retailer of premium modern design furniture offering complete collections and an interior design service to our style conscious customers.

We have and office and warehouse on the outskirts of Bristol and 5 retail stores based across the south, southwest and south wales and we are looking for and operations/logistics/warehouse manager based in Bristol with the need for some travel to support the retail stores and events with the delivery of their orders to our premium customers' home and workplaces.

This role involves working for a small but successful business, where you'll be involved in a variety of activities so a real hands on attitude, and willingness to do what needs doing, really runs through the DNA of the company.

Some of the typical duties are listed below, but you'll be expected to lead from the front, and be responsible for developing the team in a positive and professional manner as the business continues to grow:

Direct and coordinate the scheduled deliveries of our premium furniture. Manage the professional team, warehouse and transportation of all orders. Contribute to the tracking of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency. Arrange warehouse and catalogue goods to ensure the smooth flow of goods. Manage, coach and train delivery workforce, and analyse data to assess performance to implement and drive continuous improvement activities. Comply with laws, regulations, and Health & Safety requirements. Make recommendation for system improvements. Ensure documentation is completed to a high degree of accuracy.
The Person

The ideal candidate will be a professional experienced manager with operations/logistics/warehouse experience looking for a

PART TIME

role.

We have created a special blend of a lower volume, higher value warehousing and logistics experience, combined with customer service requiring leadership and role modelling qualities.

This is a hands-on and lead from the front role where you will be part of multiple teams to deliver the needs of our customers.

It's a very important role for the business, especially with the growth plans that are already in motion.

Some lifting and moving heavy goods is expected so ideal candidate must be in good physical health to fully undertake role.

Because of this we would expect the following skills and abilities from any application:

Relevant experience as an Operations / Warehouse / Logistics Manager Proven success within distribution and logistics management Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff - especially relevant if you have developed a team. Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects. Proven experience of going the extra mile.
You'll also need a full UK driving licence.
