Operations Manager - Burton Depot

Position Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary:

50,000 per annum dependent on experience + 5,000 Managers CPC

With a strong commitment to service excellence and operational efficiency, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our leadership team and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Do...

As Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day running of our Burton depot and services. You will ensure our operations are compliant, efficient, and customer-centred, while leading and supporting staff across driving, scheduling, and supervisory functions. Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will need to be flexible and prepared to work the required hours to meet the needs of the business, which may include anti-social hours.

What we are looking for...

We are looking for someone who can lead and manage depot operations, ensuring punctual, reliable and safe services. You should be able to drive engagement, support and develop our depot team, fostering a positive working culture. You should have an excellent knowledge and understanding of British Domestic Hours Rules (as defined within the) Transport Act 1968 and the Working Time Regulations 1998. Be competent in relevant IT systems including Microsoft Office, Omni-das and Ticketer systems.

A Transport Manager CPC is Desirable - but willingness to obtain within 6 months of start date will be considered.
