About Us:

We are The Cycling Gardeners - the UK's first green cargo bike garden company. Based in Edinburgh, our experienced gardeners travel by cargo bike, providing professional and sustainable garden maintenance. Our unique profit-sharing model invests in local independent gardeners, giving them the freedom to do what they do best - gardening - while we take care of operations, logistics, and client support. After three years of strong growth, we are now expanding further in 2025-26. We are looking for an Operations & Team Support Manager to join our small but ambitious team.

The Role:

This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of our business. You will manage logistics, administration, and client communication while also supporting our gardening team day to day.

You'll work closely with the Director and Finance Manager to ensure smooth operations and play a key role in building our client base as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage logistics in the yard and cargo bikes to support the gardening team.o Handle administration including emails, client database, and scheduling. Liaise with clients, assist with garden viewings, prepare quotes, and support sales.o Ensure bikes and equipment checked daily, arranging maintenance and repairs as needed.o Maintain the yard and facilities to a high standard. Organise batteries, tools, and equipment at the start and end of the day.o Keep track of tools and inventoryo Assist with purchasing, returns, and general supplies.About Youo Experience in administration and team coordination.o Excellent planning, attention to detail, and communication skills.o Experience managing people or coordinating teams.o Positive, hands-on attitude. Self-disciplined and adaptable, able to thrive in a dynamic environment. Confident using IT (emails, spreadsheets, databases). Cycling experience (or willingness to learn) desirable.What We Offero Salary: 28,000-30,000, depending on experience. Training opportunities in bike maintenance.
