Operations Manager
to join our team at Garstang. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic and have a willingness to learn and develop new skills that will equip them for a successful career within Haldane Fisher.Key responsibilities will include:
Manage all aspects of Branch operations including the Sawmill, Treatment Tank and training of staff Coordinating and helping with deliveries, customer collections and daily duties Managing health and safety on a daily basis whilst ensuring a high standard of housekeeping Monitoring and maintaining stock levels in the yard

Skills & Experience:
Experience in timber, building, construction or home improvement desirable but not essential. Management experience in any industry is essential and will be considered. Stock control/management - Goods inward/outward experience in any industry. For candidates not from a related industry you must have demonstrated experience and ability to adjust to a new industry, learn products and get up to speed efficiently. Health & Safety experience essential. Customer/client engagement skills and experience essential. Excellent organisational skills. IT Literacy.
