Operations Manager - Landscaping & Installations

About Us

Lastlawns Plus is a growing landscaping and artificial grass company known for quality work and attention to detail. We're now looking for an Operations Manager to join our team and take charge of the day-to-day running of our projects.

The Role

Once a job is sold, you'll take it from there. You'll get a full project pack with drawings and material lists, and it'll be your job to plan everything out - organising squads, arranging deliveries, keeping customers updated, and making sure the work's done right and on time. You'll be out on sites most days, checking progress, solving problems, and keeping things moving. It's a hands-on role that needs someone who can think ahead, stay organised, and keep people working together to get great results.

Main Responsibilities

Take full handover from the sales team and review project details. Plan and schedule squads for each job. Arrange materials and deliveries to keep jobs running smoothly. Visit sites daily to check progress, quality, and safety. Deal directly with customers and keep them informed. Tackle problems as they come up and find practical solutions. Work with the office team to keep everything on track and on budget.

About You

Experience in operations or project management, ideally in landscaping or construction. Strong organiser who can plan ahead and manage several jobs at once. Good communicator who can get the best out of people on site. Confident dealing with customers and solving problems quickly. Happy to work both in the office and out on site. Full UK driving licence.
