Job Description

Heartwood Care is currently seeking a new operations manager to manager a portfolio of 5 EBD Homes across London(Ilford/Romford) and Kent(Hythe).

Role

Comply with Safeguarding Children policy and procedures at all times and promote an honest and open culture. Ensure full compliance in respect of all relevant legislation and regulation Demonstrate passion and commitment to excellent support and quality Promote strong personalisation/individual care & support, striving to achieve the highest standards of personalised support Work in partnership with regulatory and legislative bodies, maintaining positive, open communication and relationships. Provide effective leadership; responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of all designated children's homes Actively promote a culture of high performance Responsible for the commercial viability of all designated children's homes. Responsible for Delivering agreed levels of "EBITDA", return on investment and cash-management targets in line with the annual budget, by effectively and efficiently managing resources, and aiming to improve the quality of earnings - optimising profitability and managing costs effectively. Lead a culture of continuous improvement and development with a strong focus on best practice Promote a learning organisation culture and commit to personal and workforce skills' development

Ideal Candidate

Formal sector related qualification, ideally at level 5 (desirable) or willingness to work towards Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation relating to residential children's homes (Essential) 2 yrs Experience in working in relevant health and social care setting, in a management position
