Based in Sussex we are a high-growth business specialising in the management and enforcement of private land car parks across the UK. Our mission is to create a fair, efficient, and compliant parking experience for landowners, customers, and local communities. As demand for our services continues to rise, we are seeking a proactive and driven Operations Manager to lead the recruitment and management of our nationwide field teams, ensuring consistent service delivery and operational excellence.

The Role:



As Operations Manager, you will take ownership of building and managing a high-performing team of traffic wardens and parking enforcement officers who operate across private land sites throughout the UK. The role is hands-on and dynamic, with a 50/50 split between field-based duties and office-based planning and management. You'll be instrumental in scaling our operations, maintaining compliance, and ensuring each site is effectively serviced.

Responsibilities:



Recruitment & Onboarding

Lead end-to-end recruitment of parking enforcement officers for private car parks across the UK. Develop streamlined onboarding and induction processes to ensure swift deployment of new hires. Work closely with HR and recruitment partners to maintain a strong pipeline of candidates.
Field Operations & Team Management

Supervise and support a growing team of field-based traffic wardens across multiple regions. Conduct regular site visits to ensure service standards, compliance, and team morale are consistently high. Act as the key point of contact for operational queries from the field.
Performance & Compliance

Monitor and drive KPIs including coverage, issuance accuracy, and site compliance. Ensure field teams operate within BPA or IPC guidelines and company policies. Manage rostering, shift planning, and site allocation to ensure optimal coverage and resource efficiency.
Process & Service Improvement

Identify and implement improvements to processes, training, and technology to support scale and quality. Collaborate with internal departments including Compliance, Client Services, and Tech to refine operational delivery.
Reporting & Communication

Produce weekly/monthly reports on staffing levels, performance, site compliance, and operational issues. Provide feedback and updates to senior management and play an active role in shaping strategic initiatives.

Skills:



Experience in operations or field team management. Strong experience recruiting and managing dispersed field-based teams. Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the UK (company car provided) full UK driving licence required. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving needs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 40,000.00-100,000.00 per year
