Role Overview

We're looking for an Operations Support Administrator to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping the business running smoothly -- supporting day-to-day operations, maintaining accurate records, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring our administrative processes are efficient and well organised.

You'll be the go-to person for managing stock levels, coordinating purchasing activities, and helping us maintain the high standards our customers rely on. This is more than just a support role -- it's an opportunity to be valued for your precision, initiative, and ability to juggle multiple tasks with confidence. You'll work independently but never in isolation, surrounded by a supportive team that appreciates your contribution and encourages your growth.

If you're ready to bring your organisational flair and proactive mindset to a company that recognises and rewards dedication, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee procurement and purchasing processes, including raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers. Place purchase orders and process delivery notes using Microsoft Business Central. Manage stock levels and inventory control, ensuring materials and supplies are available as required. Carry out inventory checks and stock counts within the factory. Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to purchasing, deliveries, and stock usage. Collect, organise, and scan paperwork for purchasing and stock records. Support general office administration, including data entry, filing, document preparation, and maintaining company databases. Handle emails and correspondence in a professional manner. Support the stock function with ad-hoc requirements, such as purchasing stationery and consumables. Assist with internal reporting, record keeping, and other administrative projects as needed. Collaborate with team leaders, shop floor staff, and other departments to understand requirements and support smooth business operations. Undertake any administrative tasks commensurate with the responsibilities, scope, and salary of the role.
Skills & Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' administrative experience, including confident use of IT systems such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), email, and data entry tools. Minimum NAT5 (or equivalent) in Mathematics. Strong IT skills, with experience using Microsoft Business Central (training can be provided if required).
