Lead Marlin Environmental Commercial Team in a highly responsible, effective, confident & capable manner.
Ensure the company's objectives are achieved within timescales by efficient and management of personnel & resources.
Must have resilience, excellent multi-tasking, organisational, interpersonal and leadership skills, plus a thorough knowledge of the industry and related finances.
Manage, supervise, organise projects ensuring all supervisors and their teams conduct their work in accordance with Marlin Environmental Services and Quality Procedures and to customer's satisfaction.
Regularly check all projects and teams ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with current legislation.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Manage, supervise & organise staff within the Marlin Commercial SE team.
Plan & organise projects ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with Marlin Environmental Services Quality Procedures.
Ensure accurate completion of tasks to customer's satisfaction, all documentation to be completed correctly.
Administer daily operations, be responsible for staff, setting objectives, maximizing utilisation.
Waste Management, keep up to date with & ensure compliance with current H&S and waste regulations.
Work with the SHEQ team to conduct business activities, driving team performance whilst maintaining and increasing quality standards and customer service.
Work closely with other teams in the Marlin business and E&E group to ensure that resources are fully utilised and supporting all business areas as required.
Work alongside other teams in the business to deliver joint projects.
Execute administrative responsibilities, attend/host meetings as required.
Engage in flexibility of working hours when required and travel to different business locations.
Formulate/write Risk Assessments, conduct site inspections and ensure job MAR packs are correct prior to issue to supervisor, team leaders/teams.
Conduct surveys and write reports on job specific tasks.
Investigate/record incidents, accidents and complaint.
Identify potential hazards and determine ways of reducing risks. Keep up to date with and ensure compliance with current Health & Safety legislation.
Chair meetings and toolbox talks.
Skills and Experience
Be professionally qualified, with practical experience within the sector.
Excellent communications skill and ability to liaise with relevant customers on a daily basis.
Experienced in production of accurate quotations and reports in a concise and timely manner as demanded by the customer
Excellent decision-making ability, sense of responsibility with confidence, drive and enthusiasm
Ability to perform under multiple pressures
Excellent planning, organisation and IT skills with commercial acumen
Extensive knowledge of ships systems and maintenance programmes
Excellent working knowledge of ISO standards
