Operations Team Supervisor Vacancy

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to assume the leadership of our operations team covering a wide variety of tasks across our nursery and also including the care and attention of plant quality, maintaining stock control.

Responsibilities:

Lead a small team allocating the resource to ensure daily tasks of inbound, putaway, picking, packing & despatch are fully covered

Lead by example with a hands-on approach to support the completion of tasks

Ensure all operational tasks are completed safely in line with company QHSE policy

Manage the team KPIs and daily reporting

Ensure the quality of products will meet customer expectations whilst performing all operational tasks

Coordinate with the Nursery Manager to complete product quality, quarantine & maintenance tasks

Escalate all QHSE concerns immediately

Implement and monitor a "clean-as-you-go" approach to all tasks

Skills:

Leadership and accountability for resource planning, setting targets and daily productivity

Motivate the team to achieve results

Proactive attitude with an aptitude for problem solving thought processes

A keen eye for accuracy, quality, and inventory control

Physically capable of lifting and moving large/heavy items safely

Leading teams and understanding KPIs Previous history working in a warehouse or logistics environment

Pay: 27,000.00-32,000.00 per year
