Operator, Warehouse

Summary:

Responsible for receiving raw materials on site, sorting correctly, and retrieving according to the business requirements. Will work proactively as part of a cross functional team

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To receive and book in raw materials. Process and load Baxter goods and Raw Materials for dispatch To support in day to day running of the Warehouse duties Being able to work as part of cross functional team and learn various jobs in both the Warehouse and Packing areas to support the business. Being able to work on their own initiative as and when required. To assist routine blind count audits. To perform regular routine cleaning tasks on the fork truck fleet and the work area to ensure they are kept clean at all times. Comply with EHS/GMP/GDP company & corporate policies and external regulatory requirements. Provide cover for colleagues. To notify Quality Assurance and the Operation team of any deviations from the process. Placing orders where needed for Raw Material and items required for Production Replenish Stock locations when needed To complete internal training when required You may be required to complete other tasks from time to time when reasonably expected

Experience required:

Experience in a Warehouse environment an advantage. Experience in using Stand On Electric Pallet Truck an advantage. Experience in using warehouse inventory systems an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Reasonable computer skills, MS office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Team player with ability to work under instruction and on own initiative and to follow instructions diligently. Excellent attention to detail. English and Mathematics GCSE or equivalent. Learns quickly and adapts well to change, displaying a high level of situation adaptability.
