Optura Glazing, a leading provider of optical services, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Optical Lab Assistant. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional service and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process daily deliveries, including unpacking and matching orders accurately.

2. Book in and out work from all stores using two online systems.

3. Handle the processing of incoming work, including traying up, picking frames and lenses.

4. Maintain a clean and organized working area in the optical lab.

5. Perform stock maintenance activities to ensure inventory accuracy.

6. Utilize online systems for ordering from suppliers.

7. Execute basic computer duties, such as spreadsheets and correspondence with various branches and staff.

8. Answer calls from various customers, addressing queries, following up on work, and handling complaints.

9. Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure high standards of work are maintained.

Skills Required:

1. Administrative experience.

2. Computer literacy with proficiency in basic computer tasks.

3. Ability to retain technical knowledge.

4. Good communication skills.

5. Strong time management abilities.

Additional Preferred Skills:

1. Optical knowledge.

2. Numeracy skills.

3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
