to manage customer orders from entry to delivery, ensuring accuracy, timely dispatch, and smooth coordination between teams, drivers, and external logistics providers. This hands-on role includes
daily driver collections, loading and dispatch, managing day-to-day computerised customer ordering systems (EDI), checking Proof of Delivery (PODs), stock management, and general administrative duties
.
Key Skills and Experiences:
Numerate and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other business measurement tools
Experience of working within a manufacturing and/or logistics environment is highly desirable
Experience in stock management
Strong organisational, people management, and relationship-building skills
Flexible, proactive, and promotes team inclusivity
Working Hours:
7:00 AM - finish (usually 4:00 PM), Monday to Friday
Weekend coverage when necessary
Extended hours may be required for urgent production needs
