Duties
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as required.
Communicate effectively with patients, providing them with information about treatments and addressing any concerns they may have.
Ensure that the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Support the team in promoting good oral health practices among patients.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest dental practices and technologies.
Qualifications
Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care with empathy and professionalism.
Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
Previous experience in a dental practice is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
