Orthodontic Dental Nurse

Your duties will include:

Assisting the Orthodontist during children's orthodontic treatments Supporting children and their families throughout their visits, helping to reduce dental anxiety Preparing the surgery and instruments in line with strict infection control procedures Taking digital scans and photographs as required Educating young patients on brace care and oral hygiene in an age-appropriate way Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with clinical administration Occasionally helping at reception and with general practice duties

What We're Looking For:

GDC-registered Dental Nurse (required) Experience in orthodontics or paediatric dentistry (desirable) NEBDN Certificate in Orthodontic Nursing or willingness to undertake training A warm, approachable manner with excellent communication skills Ability to work calmly and reassuringly with children of all ages Organised, reliable, and committed to high standards of patient care
