Out of School Club Assistant/Mentor

Kidz Come First - Birmingham B7 4AA and B18 6PU

We're looking for someone who is passionate about working with children, fun, lively and full of new ideas.

Someone who wants to make a difference in children's lives and be apart of our Kidz Come First Team.

Main duties include: Assist with planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.

Collecting children from local schools at our B18 site, transporting them to our onsite After school club by using a walking bus. After school club at our B7 site is onsite. Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment. Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met. To work face to face with children that are registered at the club Administering first aid when necessary. Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities. Helping with club administration, where necessary. Encouraging parental involvement in the club. Facilitating good communication with all members of the organisation, parents, and schools. Undertaking appropriate and relevant training. Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure. Working within the framework of the club's policies and procedures. We do have some extra hours available working as a Mentor in the schools depending on experience

Salary is dependent on experience.

ob Type: Part-time during term time



We do have Breakfast Club hours available 7:15am and 9am at B7 4AA, but you can only apply for After school club



ASC 2.45pm - 6pm



Full time in the school holidays between 8am - 5.30pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
