We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Out of School Club Play Worker to join our team, providing a safe and engaging environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, and a passion for working with children.
Responsibilities
Supervise and engage with children before and after school, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
Provide healthy and nutritious breakfast and snack.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, social interaction, and physical development.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
Manage behaviour in a positive manner, promoting respect and cooperation among children.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the play area, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive approach to childcare.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
A qualification in Early Years/Childcare/ Play or related field is desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire children.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour.
A genuine passion for childcare and the development of young minds.
