Out of School Club Practitioner

Location: Boston Spa, Wetherby Local Area.

Hours: Part-time shifts available 07.30 - 9.00 and 3-6.00pm Monday to Friday. Extra hours available.

Our client, Brook Babes established since 1999, are looking to recruit for a Childcare Practitioner to work with children, 4-11years, providing a warm caring environment.

Duties Include:

Focus on getting to know the children, playing and educating; less time focused on administrative duties. Provide consistent high quality, child centred, responsive care to all children. You will be able to model play, provide well planned stimulating, enabling environments for children to thrive. Plan fun creative, team sports activities for groups of children in an inclusive manner. To be able to listen and respond to children in a child centred manner which Safeguards children. Work in partnership with parents to promote the best outcomes for children which is supportive.
Candidate Requirements:

While being level 3 qualified would be an advantage, this is not essential as training will be paid for by the provider. For this role being committed and having passion for the role is essential. The successful candidate must have a positive outlook towards continual professional development. You must be committed to protect children from harm through following safeguarding procedures and ongoing professional development.
